His journey began with a fascination for music and technology at a young age. Without formal training or mentorship, he taught himself DJing using VirtualDJ software, spending countless hours learning beat matching, mixing techniques, music programming, and crowd engagement. Through dedication and relentless practice, he progressed from software-based DJing to performing on professional industry-standard DJ equipment, transforming a personal passion into a successful career.
FROM DJ to MUSIC PRODUCER
Driven by a desire to create original music and develop his own artistic voice, DJ JHS entered music production in 2015. Once again taking the self-taught route, he learned FL Studio independently and immersed himself in the world of composition, arrangement, sound design, and production. Through years of experimentation and creative exploration, he developed a versatile musical style influenced by Afro House, Tech House, Melodic Techno, Progressive House, EDM, Trap, and Pop music.
